This marriage-of-convenience story has enough twists and turns with a satisfying slow-burn romance that readers won’t want to put this story down. Kaitlyn is running from an abusive relationship and a marriage proposition that will clear her brother’s debts. Drew McGraw is desperate to find someone to tame his wild children so he can focus on saving the legacy his father left to him. A marriage-of-convenience is just the business proposition to solve both their problems.
There are a slew of characters that readers will either love or dislike and the children are an unexpected delight, creating some interesting situations for Kaitlyn and Drew to deal with. The story clips along, pulling readers into Kaitlyn and Drew’s Wyoming ranch, but giving the characters ample time to fall in love (and face their troubles).
I quite enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more stories from Martha Hutchens.
